As the days begin to lengthen, the trees begin to awaken and the sap starts to rise. TuB’Shvat is a Kabbalist holiday marking the hidden beginning of spring. Join us for a Tu B’Shvat seder (ritual meal and ceremony) that explores the Kabbalah, eco-Jewish wisdom and honors our local trees. We will savor the fruit of our local trees (oaks, madrone, and bay) as well as those native to the land of Israel. Our Seder will weave mythology, meditation, ecology, wild foods, and Jewish teachings.
The Seder will be light fare, please eat before-hand.
This event is not oriented for children.
