A Native American Philosophy and Perspective about Health, Sickness and Healing. Taught by Bobby Lake-Thom a Traditional Native Healer and Spiritual Teacher from NW California

Students will be provided with a Native American healer’s perspective, knowledge, and understanding about the concepts and realities of health, sickness and healing as well as the role and need for spirituality, spiritual growth and development to enhance health. Bobby will discuss certain concepts of sickness and disease and the potential causes of accidents, injury, sickness, disease, and poor health. This includes the effects of negative thinking and actions, certain negative psychic forces, evil spirits, powers, and entities and symbols. The lecture will also include positive influences and approaches that enhance good health and healing, create balance, and provide the patient with self-coping skills. Class will also cover the reality of natural/spiritual laws, certain good rituals and examples of healing ceremonies along with some concepts of modern holistic health needs and approaches.
