Back to the Garden Walk at the SF Botanical Gardens
July 12, 2016 @ 10:30 am - 12:30 pm
The ancient mystical Jewish teachings in the Zohar suggest that the Holy One did not kick us out of the Garden but we humans kicked the divine out of the garden. Join a sweet group of people as we get ourselves back to the garden to find inspiration and beauty on a lovely stroll through one of the world’s best botanical parks. Join ethnobotanist Jolie Elan, for a fun guided walk that explores the edible, medicinal and useful plants of the botanical gardens with a Jewish twist. You will begin to identify our local plants and learn to their uses and stories. We will also delve in ecological interrelationships in our natural world with a hands on approach. Fall in love with the Earth and the beauty of the bloom! For more information please contact David Gardella or click here
