Explore the wild edible and healing plants of the Sierras and learn how to identify and use them. We will visit beautiful trails, ethically gather wild plants and prepare a celebratory wild food feast. Dive into in the stunning beauty of Sierra Nevada wild flowers and acquire the necessary botanical skills to identify and classify plants. Join us for a fun-filled botanical adventure, deepen your connection to nature, build your herbal medicine chest and feast on the delicious bounty the Sierra Mountains. This class is held at the Sierra Field Campus of SFSU. The field campus is laid back and full of nature lovers who sing around the campfire. This could be your new happy place.
