Shaman’s trees with Matthew Wood and Jolie Elan
January 30, 2016 @ 10:00 am - January 31, 2016 @ 5:00 pm
This is a two day workshop. Students can attend either day separately or both days.
You don’t have to go to the Amazon to have a shamanic journey and connect sacred trees. The San Francisco Bay Area is home to powerful trees rich in medicine, myth and ecological wonders. Join world renown author and master herbalist Matthew Wood and Ethnobotanist Jolie Elan as we explore the many ways of relating to the Elder, Bay and Oak trees. We will cover the food, medicine, ethnobotany, spirit and fare of these three fascinating trees. This is two day adventure. The first day will cover the ecology, medicine, food and ethnobotany of the trees. On the second day we will partake in plant spirit journeys to find out what the plants can teach us on a spiritual level in group meditations. Each class can be taken separately or you can take both for a discounted rate. For more information or to register email firstname.lastname@example.org
