Wild Foods and Medicines of Marin…. A Plant Walk

Wild foods and medicines abound in Marin. Join us for this fun-filled educational walk and connect deeper to nature. We’ll discuss how to identify common plants and use them for food and medicine. Learn how to distinguish useful plants from their poisonous cousins. Come immerse yourself in the myths, medicine and magic of the wild plants at Samuel P. Taylor Park. The walk will be friendly and slow paced. Kids over 12 are welcome.
Where: Samuel P. Taylor Park. Directions: From US 101 in Marin County, exit San Anselmo/Sir Francis Drake. Drive about 15 miles west on Sir Francis Drake to the park entrance on the left side of the road. For more information and to register click here
