Explore the wild foods and medicines growing in Golden Gate Park with an ethnobotanist. On this leisurely autumn walk we pay special attention to the ecology, myth and food of the mighty oak. Native Californians and ancient Jews alike ate acorns and honored the oaks in stories and mythology. We will also prepare and eat acorn treats. For more info or to register click here
It was beyond our expectations for interest and just plain enjoyment.
